The 2-channel FAKRA Switch SW0081 allows for the selective switching of a shared FAKRA connection to one of two channels. Depending on the selected route—directly on the device, via USB, or via an external switch input—the signal is flexibly assigned to one of the two channels. The switch supports bandwidths up to 8 GHz and is compatible with GMSL1, GMSL2, GMSL3, FPD Link III, and FPD Link IV, among others.

Thanks to bidirectional signal routing, both sources and sinks can be flexibly connected, making the switch versatile for use in a variety of test environments. The high-quality, low-loss signal routing ensures reliable and stable transmission—even with high-frequency and demanding RF and video signals.

The switch is housed in a compact and rugged enclosure, allowing it to be integrated into a wide variety of test setups in a space-saving manner—from lab benches to HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems. This makes the SW0081 ideal for development, integration, and test and validation environments in the automotive sector.

Switching can be performed either directly on the device, conveniently via a USB interface, or via an external trigger or switch input. This allows the SW0081 to be seamlessly integrated into automated and custom test systems.
