The coupler is used to decouple video data in an Automotive Video Link (AVL) connection between camera and ECU. It uses the TZ.Coupling method, which decouples the video data directionally without deserializing the main link. The decoupled data path can be connected to other TZ devices such as video converters, frame grabbers or signal processing units that support the required coupler mode for further processing of the video data. If the connected camera is supplied with power via the AVL, the coupler forwards this directly via the main link. The coupler can output 2 actively amplified video signals in parallel to other TZ devices (video converter, frame grabber or signal processing unit).
